Hi-Tech's range of PICC Compilers are widely acknowledged as some of the most efficient for PIC coding. Whilst these are not open-source they distribute Mac and Linux versions alongside Windows, and the restricted PICC Lite is available for free. The HI-TIDE IDE, based on Eclipse, is also great for development work. More information and downloads can be found found on their site. |
